So I figure its time to bring people up to speed. anxiousCurrent Music: Avril Lavigne - Everything Back But You (Don't you fucking judge me) Following my last post where I described how invaluable I had become within the Chemistri marketing team I needed to take two days off, this is because quiting smoking has hit me with a chest infection and sinusitis, aka I've been waking up at 3:30am each morning for my Scheduled coughing fit, any-who. Chemistri decided that the only way to deal with this was to fire me... they let me know this at 5:30pm on a Thursday.... the shittiest part of a week to fire someone. so there I was with only a single days pay due to me with no clues how I'm even going to get an interview before Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. the neat part is <lj user=Xieleven> had been applying her GoogleFu towards getting me a better job, so Friday morning A gent from Wilson's security NSW called me and rather enthusiastically asked me to come in for an interview, aka at 8:45 in the morning he called hoping we could interview at 10:00am. The rest of the day was spent in nerves, until I walked out of my 20 minute giggling maniacally with orders to return for my first shift in Monday! Basically we are building an operations center, very similar to what I was doing with Kordia, only its 12 hour shifts, on a four days on, four days off rotation, plus Kordia was anything upto an hours transit sometimes two & a half, if I'm late to work a Taxi is $15, Fuck yes! I have to wear a security guards uniform, but its totally cool, the Lapels say "Operations" and my New office looks like Freakin' NORAD! theres going to be a projector displaying a map of Sydney with blips representing the real-time location of the roving patrols, and about three workstations laid out with dual monitor display. its gonna be cool. plus I'm really looking forward to a confuckulated roster again, honestly I can't do it. I need to stand by Kings street at four AM and absorbe the Silence. I need to have coffee at cafe Newtown gliding through my afternoon while the rest push themselves to get to the office. I need to walk for ten kilometers in a random direction get horribly lost and then find myself again. And It will be possible again soon. hell the walk home is 7.1 Km if I take the more interesting route. Also I'm back to earning real money again. now if only it wasn't monthly pay, *shrugs* Cest la vi. Mental health levels are fairly stable, I'm getting bouts of anxiety, I've never had to deal with this stuff before so its kinda new, Is it normal to want to scream until there's nothing left inside you? because I get that feeling every day or so, for a few minutes at a time, plus other things I don't want to put on my journal. Ok So I'm not great but I think I'm about fine. I'm gonna go see about doing some painting or something before I start working at 12. I'm working nine to five until July 1st when the call center goes online then the good rotation starts up. Feel free to comment "TL:DR" |

So I've been looking at it and I haven't actually made a post that wasn't a Meme or drunken lifeblog post since April.Current Mood: Introspective Current Music: Finlay Quaye - dice So I guess Its time to bring people up to speed. I'm still doing the Temp role I was all happy about last post, its been about 9 weeks now, and at about week two it stopped being customer serivec and became data entry, then it became data entry + database administration, than it became data entry + database administration + team leeder + trainer, now its data entry + database administration + Customer service, And I'm downright sick of it. I'm still a temp and I'm still pulling $18.50 an hour, So I'm getting out. Xi And I have decided it time to try and get me back into night time operations, much like what I've done in the past. the money tends to be better based purely on the times that the shifts occur, and I tend to exist better at night My relationship with Xi Is getting strained, but thats mostly because She still has reoccuring pains from her ear infections and I'm still suffering under something like five different stress sources right now. O! and I gave up smoking something like eight weeks ago, I even got into a weightlifting Regime for a few weeks there, but getting home at 9:30pm on Monday Wednesday and Friday was putting too much strain on my relationship. However I'm still being active and eating in a fairly healthy manner and the end result is I am still losing weight at a relaxed pace. Though I have to say, The hardest part of giving up smoking is not the Nicotien cravings, Its the part where your lungsd decide to start ridding themselves of seven years of punishment. I'm not going to go into detail but lets just say I'm not going to take up smoking again just because then one day Someone would force me to quit and then I'[d have to go through this shit again. The long and the short of it is things ar getting on top of me but then thats nothing new, some things are going well and some are going badly, but then who ever wants boring life where everything works out for you, I'd rather the life where You get an anxiety attack at two thirty Am after a heavy nights drinking and you wind up walking for about an hour and a half at a very heavy pace just because you need to get away from yourself. Good news is I'm starting to reconnect to some of the people I used to get a lot of support from,. Don't worry about me, I'm always fine |

So I spent most of the last week ranging between rather ill, stressing myself until I believed I was still rather ill, and going to interviews/fielding calls from consultancies about jobs. This meant I didn't actually go in to work this week, Furthermore this means next week I get paid absolutely nothing. FUCK! The good news Is I've found a Temp role In north Sydney with more polite hours and its doing something I love, Customer service, my one marketable skill. Other than that I guess no news is good news, Went to Ascension tonight, just for 40 minutes or so, was good, saw bassmasta_b, darkstardeity, ozgenre & spiteful_elf.Sadly aside from two or so others there was just about nobody else at the club I knew, There were a good number of people, I just seam to know a shrinking fraction of the regular scene these days. and I've been a bit too shy these days to rectify that. O well, I'll figure something out I guess. Anywho, good night kids. |

I arrived to work today with <lj user=Xieleven>'s DS, Adams copy of the new Zel;da game for DS, a good book, and a good DVD.Current Music: the choir boys - run to paradise, fuck I hate the office radio Instead of the quet farewell to night shifts i was planning I have found myself facing three major faults with no senior on shift. So I guess I get a horribly stress full final night shift insead, why not aye, its been years since I left a job fealing like I've been anally violated, should be a walk down memory lane :c( |

So I just handed in my notice at Kordia. xieleven that I reallised What an amasing lady she is and What a raving fuck-knuckle I am for letting my job destract me from this. I spent two weeks falling asleep with her cuddly warmness nestled against my side, I'd wake in the night and find endless pleasure in staring at her as she slept peacfully, And don't even get me started on the sex (Save to say, Damn!).obviously we've been getting all of that in varing levels over the last nine months, but there is no rotation that seamlessly meshed with her nine to five monday to friday job, even the six am starts have me leaving the house an hour before she wakes up (And you haven't experienced an extended willpower roll until you've tried to climb out of a bed with a uber cuddly human waterbottle at 3:45am, and believe me you don't want to), Pm shifts had me waking when she's already at work, and night shifts? Forget about it! In my two weeks Off I reallised I have a beutiful, inteligent, and downright fun Girlfriend, We've been dating for three years now, and The time has come for me to stop fucking with our relationship and starting fixing the damage i've incurred over the last year. gosh that was more than most of my posts for the last year... CONTINUING! * Achiere some form of transport more efficient than my on feet that does not run on a government proscribbed timetable. This could range from a motorcylce to actually buying a car and getting my drivers license. I have a small horde of friends doing their damndest to get me driving a motorcycle and I have a british visitor who over the next three months wants to get me doing driving lessons with him, I need to capitalise on these people and stop relying on public transport, because while I would argue that the sydney government is doing a pretty alright job of keeping the public transport system going on time, I'm twenty four and I'm sick to shit of waiting for busses and trains. plus If I own the car I can god damn smoke in it! * Identify all debts and begin seriously clearing them. There's too many of them, its driving me nuts, and as I can't rig the lottery and none of my relatives are rich enough to off I have to start making rather spacific plans for clearing them all. its the only way to move forward. Once these goals have been looked after I can cleanly move into the month of August, which includes two rather imprtant events. 1) My 25th birthday, my 23rd passed almost completelly unnoticed by even me, and my 24th was... yeah less said the better. so this year I'm hopping to be in a better place mentally, financially, and all that other crap 2) Staging connections will be doing their secdond Biannual staff intake, I've been talking to a friend for the last month and have decided Its time to return to that old Highschool hoby of mine (Stage sound and lighting) and see if I can't make a career out of it, Especially as I have some friends doing indi film making and I'd plan to start using thier projects as a chance to sharpen up some old skills. so there it is, I'f you've managed to get all the way to hear congratulations, Just don't post TL:DR, I'll kick your ass if you do that O And in other great news  WOOT!
